Discovering Your Personal Style, Together
At 9Tailors Boston, we don’t just make suits. We work with each individual to craft clothing that fits the person, not the mold. Our goal is to amplify self-expression, letting your unique personality shine.

We believe in the potential of style and the importance of craftsmanship. When you unlock the connection of self-identity and outward expression, you unlock the pathway to the most effective version of yourself. And that’s what we’re here to do.

CEO
IG: @jefflahens | @9Tailors
Jeff Lahens is a veteran of the fashion retail industry with more than 20 years of leadership in retail management, marketing, and fashion styling. Widely regarded as a pioneer in menswear, Jeff has built a career defined by craftsmanship, community, and a belief that style should empower individuality.
Born and raised in Haiti, Jeff now calls Greater Boston home. As CEO of 9Tailors Boston and a professor at Lasell University, he has become a leading voice in reshaping how custom clothing can reflect both personal and cultural identity.
Beyond his work at 9Tailors, Jeff is deeply committed to Boston’s creative and entrepreneurial communities. He has founded and supported initiatives focused on black youth empowerment, equity, and education.
Jeff is leading 9Tailors into its next chapter: reintroducing the brand as 9Tailors Boston. This evolution reflects his deep-rooted dedication to the city — its people, its businesses, and its future — while continuing to offer the highest quality custom garments to individuals of all genders and identities. Under his leadership, 9Tailors Boston remains a welcoming space for self-expression, craftsmanship, and community, in the heart of the Leather District.

Store Manager & Training Tailor
Jim Durso brings more than 15 years of experience in retail and fashion to his role as Store Manager and Training Tailor at 9Tailors Boston. His career began with two tailoring apprenticeships in his teens, where he developed a deep expertise in complex alteration techniques — a foundation that would shape his work across multiple facets of the industry.
Jim’s experience spans tailoring consulting for live theater and film productions, manufacturing canvassed suiting on the assembly line, and collaborating with Boston brands on ready-to-wear collections, from design to pattern drafting.
At 9Tailors Boston, Jim is especially passionate about working with couples on both sides of the wedding aisle and designing anything with pinstripes — a subtle nod to his love of classic craftsmanship. He takes pride in being part of a company that celebrates inclusivity and creates garments for every body.
Outside of the showroom, you’ll find Jim cooking, traveling, and continuing to seek inspiration from new places and cultures.

Operations Manager
Having grown up in her family’s neighborhood shop, Jennifer DeFlorio learned early what it takes to create a welcoming customer experience — a philosophy she brings to her role as Operations Manager at 9Tailors Boston. Behind the scenes, she ensures that every client journey is seamless, from keeping production on track to curating a showroom that feels both inspiring and personal.
Throughout her career, Jennifer has worked in all kinds of shops — from large global retailers to small local businesses — and spent years immersed in the antique and vintage markets, sourcing inspiration for major fashion houses around the world.
An avid music lover and traveler, Jennifer’s favorite way to experience new places is by exploring their local music scenes.

Style Advisor & Couture Program Designer
Rebecca Donovan is a Style Advisor and the lead designer for the 9Tailors Boston Couture Program. A recent graduate of Lasell University, where she majored in fashion design and production, Rebecca first joined the 9Tailors team as an intern under CEO Jeff Lahens, developing her technical expertise and understanding of custom tailoring.
Today, Rebecca leads the design process for bespoke suiting creations, producing digital renderings that help bring each client’s unique vision to life — whether it’s a suit with an open back, slanted front buttons, or a bold, oversized lapel. She is passionate about working closely with clients to transform their ideas into one-of-a-kind garments that reflect personal style and individuality.
Outside of the showroom, Rebecca continues to pursue her love of dance, often taking open classes in Boston when she’s not behind the sewing machine.
